Photovoltaic accessories

Photovoltaic accessories

The APV brand means that you have access to the comprehensive equipment required for PV photovoltaic installations – including cabling, tools, connectors and the necessary safety features. All products have the necessary certifications.

Photovoltaic switchgear – designed to protect PV installations against overloads and short-circuit effects in photovoltaic systems, DC.

The switchgear is fully wired, ready for connection.

MC4 connectors

MC4 connectors from APV, are the assurance of correct connections in photovoltaic networks. These include KM and PM connectors, diodes, fuses, parallel short and on-cable splitter connectors and pins. The most popular KM and PM connector sets are designed for mounting on the solar cable and are used to connect photovoltaic panels

MC4 solar cables

High-quality single-core cables for photovoltaic installations MC4, by APV, with soft-tinned multi-stranded conductor, insulated and sheathed in cross-linked halogen-free plastic.

The cables can be used in solar power generation, solar cells and solar panel systems. The APV series cables are fully compliant with the above-mentioned standards and can carry the harmonised name H1Z2Z2-K.

The cables meet the requirements of the standards:

PN-EN 50618:2015-03
PN-EN 60228:2007.

Overcurrent circuit breakers

WNDC DC overcurrent circuit breakers are used to protect circuits, against currents, during an overload, short circuit or disconnection.

Dedicated to photovoltaic networks. The overcurrent circuit breakers are equipped with an electromagnetic and thermal trip. Overcurrent circuit breakers are available in the following current ratings: 10A to 63A, 2 or 4 bay. Degree of protection: IP20, CE certified.

APV surge protectors

The T2, T1+T2 surge protectors of the APV series are used to protect photovoltaic installations – TN, TT types – against induced, switching and atmospheric voltages.

They are equipped with a visual operational indicator (green – protection, red – no protection). The arresters have features that make them easy to install and operate. Manufactured in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11.

Fuse bases APV

Fuse bases, 1 and 2 module, are designed for 10×38 fuse links.

They are used in photovoltaic systems. Maximum operating voltage: 1000V DC, maximum current: 32A. Frequency: 50/60Hz. Mounting on TH35 bus. Sealing: IP20.

Fuses - tubular

They are used to protect photovoltaic and low-voltage DC installations.

The fuse-link-tube, APV series, allows protection of one chain of panels. The insert is mounted in the MC4-B10X38 fuse holder or the 10×38 fuse base. The base and the holder for mounting the fuses on a 35 mm rail, are available in the APV series.

Main switch disconnectors

The APV series includes both main switch disconnectors, with and without housing.

The purpose of APV isolating switch disconnectors, is to disconnect DC loads and to provide emergency power. They act as main switches. Absolutely required in photovoltaic installations to disconnect modules from the inverter (strings, PV chains). They have the possibility to lock the knob, by inserting a padlock.

The operating mechanism used in APV disconnectors is an ON/OFF cam mechanism. The disconnectors are housed in an IP65 rated enclosure, so they are protected against dust and water jets. They can be used outdoors or indoors in photovoltaic installations.

APV tools

The tools in the APV series are crimping presses, wire strippers and spanners for the installation and removal of MC4 connectors.

The tools are suitable for crimping MC4 type solar connectors (both male and female) on multi-stranded copper solar cables.

The crimping tools are equipped with hardened dies, positioned in the head and screwed to prevent them from falling out. Thanks to the optimal leverage ratio of the presses, the crimping process requires little force.

Universal – automatic strippers are used for stripping insulation, from single and multi-conductor cables. The tools can be adjusted to the wire diameter to be stripped using the adjustment knob.

Energy meter

L3F 4P energy meter, mounted on DIN rail TH35. Designed and manufactured in accordance with current standards. Representing the actual consumption of electricity, through the use of advanced integrated circuits to measure energy and the application of digital sampling and SMT technology. Adopts a modular structure with features such as mate dimensions, convenient installation and reliable operation.

For both commercial and industrial applications.
Measures and indicates the total active energy input / output [kWh) and power[W].

Equipped with a large, easy-to-read LCD display.

Designed for remote reading of electricity measurements via the MODBUS RTU (Rs485) bus,
Multi-rate energy measurement: total current consumption from multiple tariffs.
