Modular Apparatus
Fuses and circuit breakers
WN6 fuses are electrical installation elements whose task is to interrupt the continuity of the circuit when the current exceeds the safe value for this circuit.
The fuses are designed to control and protect against the effects of overloads and short circuits of installation circuits, as well as electrical appliances in households.
Adelid® residual current circuit breakers protect people and objects in direct or indirect contact with electricity.
They guarantee fire protection, check the tightness of insulation and disconnect the power supply when current leaks occur.
Surge protectors
A surge arrester, lightning arrester or surge protector is a device designed to protect electrical apparatus against transient overvoltages, limiting the duration and frequency of the consequent current.
Overvoltages can occur during, for example, switching on or off an unloaded overhead line or when lightning strikes an overhead line, and can damage the insulation and other network components.
In relation to other protective apparatus, class B, B+C and C arresters should be installed before the residual current circuit breakers on the supply side and after the main overcurrent protection.
This connection prevents a properly functioning residual current circuit breaker from tripping (and thus a break in the power supply to the installation) when an arrester is tripped.
Energy counters and meters 1F and 3F
Three-phase and single-phase meters, of the Adelid® brand, with LCD display, for indicating the 1 and 3-phase AC electricity consumed, with class 1/B accuracy.
Under the influence of the flowing current and applied voltage, a special electronic circuit generates pulses in an amount proportional to the electrical energy consumed. In-phase energy consumption is indicated by a flashing LED. The number of pulses is converted into consumed energy and its value is indicated by an LCD display.
The products comply with the EU Directive 2014/32/EU, known as the MID – Measuring Instrument Directive (a directive aimed at harmonising standards for reading metering equipment so that we have billing based on meter data).
Modular contactors
Modular contactors are used to control 1 and 3 phase systems. They can be used to control and operate lighting, heating and ventilation systems, etc.
Insulation disconnectors, RIWy
The purpose of Adelid® brand insulating switch disconnectors is to disconnect electrical circuits under load. Adelid® isolating switch disconnectors are a certainty of the best price/quality ratio.
RIW series isolating switches are designed for switching electrical circuits, under load and as main switches, of electrical circuits, operating at 230/400V AC 50/60 Hz.
